Are Electronic Cigarettes
Legal?

Electronic cigarettes are not controlled or
restricted by tobacco laws and smoking bans. As they do
not contain tobacco, they do not fall under tobacco
legislation. Tobacco tax duties also do not apply.
This means that governments will be losing a lot in taxes as
smokers swap to electronic cigarettes for health benefits and
to save money. With the hard economic times, electronic cigarettes
can help smokers to cut smoking costs and it is legal.
The government has been losing millions in tobacco tax for
years long before the electronic cigarettes from smuggled
cigarettes which is widespread. Smokers using electronic
cigarettes are supporting our economy and not the smugglers as
they will reduce the load on our healthcare.
There are no restrictions imposed on the usage of electronic
cigarettes in most countries including the UK. The
question will continue to be asked whether electronic cigarette
is legal. But there is no doubt that it can be
smoked in public a there is no passive smoke. The
FDA has
come up once again with ridiculous recommendations and totally
ignored that smoking today's cigarette has caused so much
of healthcare problems.
